June 8, 1987
Missing: Reward
In February 1991, the TV program "Missing: Reward" profiled Michael's story. Michael's family also tried to get his story featured on the popular program "Unsolved Mysteries", but were unsuccessful.
Michael's 8-minute segment detailed the last evening that he was seen, and focuses primarily on activities surrounding M-System. Michael had witnessed a theft two nights before he went missing, while he was closing the store alone. Michael reported the incident to the store manager, but was reprimanded for being in the back room during his shift.
